PBP Scholarship — terms & privacy
In plain language. Please read before you apply.
What the scholarship is
The Project Business Foundation offers a limited number of scholarships so that people in need can earn the Project Business Professional (PBP) certification. A scholarship covers access to a participating class; it is awarded on merit and need, at the Foundation's discretion, while seats last.
How your application is reviewed
A small review board of entrusted experts reads each application and decides together, usually within a week. An AI tool helps the board weigh applications fairly; it is advisory only, and a human always makes the decision. Your uploaded documents are never sent to the AI — they are read only by the board.
Your data — and how it is erased
We treat your application in confidence. “Erase” means everything: the application content and any documents you uploaded.
- If your application is declined and you do not appeal, your content and documents are erased once the two-week appeal window closes.
- If you appeal and the appeal is rejected, they are erased once you have been informed.
- If you are approved (directly or on appeal), they are erased at the latest two weeks after that — your place is unaffected — or immediately if you ask.
- You can erase your data yourself at any time from your application page.
If you asked us to keep you informed, you stay on our contact list only until you opt out — separately from the erasure above. You can also ask to be removed entirely.
Appeals
If your application is declined, you may ask the board to look again once, within two weeks, from your application page. While an appeal is pending, your data is kept — not erased — until the appeal is decided.
Fair use
Please apply only if the fee is a genuine barrier for you. We may ask to verify what you tell us (for example, via the LinkedIn profile you share). Misuse of the program may lead to a decline.
